AGE LESS LIVE MORE!!! what an AWESOME BOOK!

This book was nothing short of amazing!!! This dude is 107 years old if you check out my previous post you can see a video of him talking about his health etc with raw food guru Paul Nison My previous post

Bernandos approach is a perfect example of how people should use modeling principles to overcome health issues or do anything in life for that matter. This dude listened to his father (lived to 99) making health choices and he is still healthy at 107 years old living a life that most people are at in their early 50s. He does not tell the readers to go out and buy 1000 different products to overcome their health he just goes over the things which have allowed him to live such a great life. I know debunkers will say he has good genes BLA BLA BLA but truthfully this guy just adopted health principles a long time ago and stuck with them!!! This is honestly the BEST book I have ever read! and would recommend that before reading any other book out there GO GET THIS book. Visit his site and Get Bernandos book here   *just a heads up since this book is printed on demand it may take 2-3 weeks to get to you** This guy is not doing this for money but just to pay it forward and share his wisdom nothing more and nothing less.

Also want to Thank Paul Nison for sharing this information with me. **Everyone after reading this book pay it forward and share it with your friends and family.

Vitamin D may fight Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis

Hey Everyone

I had a post a few months ago talking about Vitamin D (Click here to see my original post) and how it has helped some people with their Inflammatory Bowel Diseases now here is an interesting article which sheds some more evidence that it may indeed help these conditions.

MONTREAL — Vitamin D, touted as the "sunshine cure," might also prevent and fight Crohn's disease, suggests a new study by Montreal researchers.
The discovery has yet to be confirmed by clinical trials, but it raises hopes for the estimated 170,000 Canadians with either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Canada has one of the highest reported rates in the world for Crohn's disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disorder that usually affects the lower small intestine.
"Our data suggests for the first time that Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to Crohn's disease," said John White, an endocrinologist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre.

Paul Nison is the REAL DEAL

Before I cured my crohn's disease or my i say overcome my crohn's disease I use to hear about this Paul Nison dude and was not sure to think... When you are trying to look for natural cures for any disease like Crohn's or colitis it seems like you get bombarded with a huge amount of sites to check out. The sad truth is that the majority of these sites are people that are looking to cash in by selling bogus products or sites that offer no information just provide keywords which they use to get you to click on advertisements so they can make money.I'm sure most people reviewing this post can realte to what I am saying

Over the past 1.5 years I have followed Paul Nisons website and subscribed to his newsletter and realized this guy is the REAL deal. He spends his life spreading the word to help people overcome their health and live more healthy lives. Every video post or email newsletter I have reviewed or received from Paul has always been top notch material and always provides value to the reader or viewer. He could easily sell out and come out with a miracle product but he has yet to do so and I am confident we will continue to see great content coming from his website and videos.

I encourage anyone who is looking to overcome their crohn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis or any person looking to improve their health to check out his website, videos, books etc. This guy has done great job spreading the health benefits of a Raw Diet so please take the time to check his website out.

This film is an eye opener that will blow your mind.....you may think you know but wait until you watch it...........I would love for a documentary like this to be shown on a major television network but GOOD LUCK lol

Some Research Backing THC and crohn's colitis?

Just wanted to say thanks to Pat for emailing me this article. Shows how some other educated people are realizing the healing principles of this plant and how it can put the body back into a homeostasis state :)

Cannabis for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease treatment
17. December 2009 04:15

Chemicals found in cannabis could prove an effective treatment for the inflammatory bowel diseases Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease, say scientists.

Laboratory tests have shown that two compounds found in the cannabis plant - the cannabinoids THC and cannabidiol - interact with the body's system that controls gut function.

Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, which affect about one in every 250 people in Northern Europe, are caused by both genetic and environmental factors. The researchers believe that a genetic susceptibility coupled with other triggers, such as diet, stress or bacterial imbalance, leads to a defective immune response.

Dr Karen Wright, Peel Trust Lecturer in Biomedicine at Lancaster University, will be presenting her soon-to-be published work at The British Pharmacological Society's Winter Meeting in London today (Thursday).

She said: "The lining of the intestines provides a barrier against the contents of the gut but in people with Crohn's Disease this barrier leaks and bacteria can escape into the intestinal tissue leading to an inappropriate immune response.

"If we could find a way to restore barrier integrity in patients we may be able to curb the inflammatory immune response that causes these chronic conditions."

Dr Wright, working with colleagues at the School of Graduate Entry Medicine and Health in Derby, has shown that cells that react to cannabinoid compounds play an important role in normal gut function as well as the immune system's inflammatory response.

"The body produces its own cannabinoid molecules, called endocannabinoids, which we have shown increase the permeability of the epithelium during inflammation, implying that overproduction may be detrimental," said Dr Wright.

"However, we were able to reverse this process using plant-derived cannabinoids, which appeared to allow the epithelial cells to form tighter bonds with each other and restore the membrane barrier."

The research was carried out using cell cultures in a dish but, interestingly, when the team attempted to mimic the conditions of the gut by reducing the amount of oxygen in the cells' environment, much lower concentrations of cannabinoid were needed to produce the same effect.

Dr Wright added: "What is also encouraging is that while THC has psychoactive properties and is responsible for the 'high' people experience when using cannabis, cannabidiol, which has also proved effective in restoring membrane integrity, does not possess such properties."

The British Pharmacological Society (BPS) - the primary UK learned society concerned with research into drugs and the way they work - is hosting its annual Winter Meeting in London, attracting experts from across the world.

The three-day conference, running from 15 to 17 December 2009, will hear presentations on the latest pharmacological developments to tackle a range of conditions and diseases.
